Primordial

"Primordial" means, "existing from the beginning'. The inspiration for this piece stems from my interest in the origins of life and our innate desire to communicate with one another as a race. Ancient African symbols from "Nsibidi" and Etruscan Runes form the composition with the dominant shapes spelling 'Love' in the Runic alphabet. The white Nsibidi symbols in motion represent the evolutionary journey of self-expression from Cave Art to the development of the alphabet. Ultimately, written communication was one of the greatest creations of mankind.
