This painting was created with no plan other than I wanted a monochromatic perception with some "surprise guests". The first applications of paint were multi-colored then as the greens began to dominate the background shapes emerged via techniques of scraping and daubing. This painting won an Award of Excellence at the FCA Painters Choice Show.
My paintings are finished with several coats of UV protected varnish to preserve their brilliance.
